A Full Fall

Terry and I spent the summer writing curriculum for Fall college classes that we taught and the kids got ready for school to start.

The Goods and Bells started back to school: It seems earlier and earlier each year -

We celebrated Fall with a trip to the Orr Pumpkin Patch in OKC --

Fall break I was invited to the Bahamas with Katie and Marshall.  It was a time to relax and enjoy the Grands and experience the beautiful coastline.

Feeding the dolphins our first morning was delightful.

We enjoyed such delicious meals -- our first night was at the Four Seasons

Marshall booked a Pirate tour of the island where we learned a lot of history of the Pirates governing the island.

Our last morning we ate breakfast at the Royal Hotel and were mesmerized by all the sea life.  Sting Rays, sharks and eels and lots, lots more!

Rafting the river with Mom and Dad - Clara and Charlie had a blast!

Calvin patiently waited with me at the river edge.

These two boys had more fun at the Posiden adventure
Marshall and Katie always take the best care of ALL my needs on our trips.

Fall always brings all sorts of reasons for costumes!

Halloween Ninjas

Taylor Swift - Jack's Nerd Costume was a classic - but nobody got a good picture of it
Favorite Book Days

Every 3rd grade student at Jenks goes to Rose Hill - a school that is built around life in the late 1800's.  this was Jack's year to go. As with all things Jack does he was ALL IN and He loved it!!!

The designer
of all GOOD costumes created "Aunt Bethany and Uncle Louis" for a party they attended. They won first place!
In early November - Mat and Bethany went to the Dominican Republic on a medical mission.  There was a need for Mat's cardiology expertise as one village had so many people with hypertension.

Two-day clinic in a small church building.  They saw a lot of Haitians

The Redeemer Church Team of Physicians, Nurses, EMT, and support staff

Mat doing what he loves - treating a family in a remote mountain village.

Pawpaw and I got to keep the 3 Goodletts -

 Campbell had the busiest schedule.
Basketball, LaCrosse tournaments both weekends, and a Choir concert -- it was a busy week for her.

Jack had basketball practice and a veterans day assembly in which he had a speaking part.

Sydney kept busy with projects and homework.  She completed her Track season in late October.

We got to celebrate Terry's 75th birthday with Jack and Sydney.

It was a fun time to connect with our Goodletts!  We do have to admit we were tired and ready for our retired pace of living.
