New Beginnings And A Final Chapter

Marshall and Katie's move has come in two chapters.  Early June they brought the first load to their new home in Edmond.

After 10 years in Colorado for Marshall - and for Katie having lived in Colorado all her life - all their possessions were packed in two Ryder trucks and headed East two different moving days.

Katie got the house staged and ready helping it sell in two days so that the rest of May was spent packing boxes and getting their move organized and bonding with new Baby Calvin.

Driving their 3 kids (Calvin just a month old) their first trip took only 10 1/2 hours.

Terry and I met Marshall, Katie and the Grands -- we all pulled up at their house at the same time.

We got to watch Clara and Charlie see their new home for the first time.
Our Bell men . . . This was Pawpaw's first time to meet Calvin.

Bethany and I brought Clara and Charlie to Tulsa while Mommy and Daddy settled the first load.

Pawpaw's the best at multi-tasking g'kids.
Oklahoma heat meant all Bell / Good cousins had to take a dip in Aunt Bethany's pool.

Two weeks later . . . it was time for Marshall's graduation from his CT Surgery Fellowship from University of Colorado

We met Marshall's friends before the graduation ceremony.  As he entered the tent, the place erupted in shouts of "MTB, MTB, MTB!!"

The evening was a roast yet the accolades given by the attending physicians Marshall served under spoke of his dedication, care for his patients and hard work.  Dr. Fullerton referred to him as a "golden nugget"
The venue was at Lowry Air Force Base Air Museum.  Pretty significant for a guy who earned his AirFrame and PowerPlant license to work on airplanes before college
Marshall concluded his remarks with a special word of appreciation for Katie and the support she gave during their 10 years at University of Colorado Hospital.  During those 10 years, Katie worked as an RN with a specialty in wound care and surgical healing.

Our Clan - Bells, Goods and Katie's sister, Shelly
