Nana's Favs

All the while Terry was healing, we made plans to attend an art exhibit of Dega, Monet, Van Gogh in OKC.  It was something we put on our calendar to work toward with his healing.
Bethany and Mat gave T an early birthday present, surprising him Tickets to Hamilton.  Terry was able to go without boot or scooter!  We have so much to be thankful for!  God has given him great healing.!!!

All our grands love to read!  Checking out Daddy's National  Geographics.

Sydney's Baby Rosie met the dog and lost both feet and a hand.  This greatly traumatized Sydney -- but she couldn't give up her beloved doll.  Sydney planned a new pair of "jammies" she wanted me to make for her baby.  She said it had to have a pocket and footies.
We love it when Katie and the kids come to town when Marshall is on call. . . a fun lunch -- Clara prayed and we all got blessed twice!

It's the season . . .
Jack has been spending a few "buddy day" Fridays with his Pawpaw.  This week he planned and announced to his pre-school the day before he was going to Chuck E Cheese.  Well, sure enough -- Pawpaw looked high and low -- couldn't find Chuck E Cheese which ended up with their going to Incredible Pizza -- JACK WAS THRILLED!!!

At their sleepover this weekend, the Goodletts wanted to paint pumpkins -- and surprised me with their artistic ability . .

Broken Bow Late Summer Vacay

Katie and Marshall planned a great getaway and invited us to join them in Broken Bow for a long weekend.
Everything in Broken Bow is about Big Foot and the kids came scared -- even a few days before were refusing to come.  We were instructed no one could mention BF.

Marshall scouted out the best restaurants and diners.

and found a great petting zoo in Hoachitown

Marshall and Katie rented a pontoon boat and we enjoyed Big Bend Lake
I don't know who had more fun -- Pawpaw or the kids.  They were his constant buddies.  Clara made up songs about Pawpaw's boo-boo (ankle) and felt she needed to help him walk.  When he thanked her for her help -- she said -- "That's okay -- you can pay me in chocolate."

Helping Daddy drive.

Clara helped Terry walk up the ramp from the boat -- and Charlie was determined to help me -- singing "London Bridge is falling down all the way."  Which really didn't help my dizziness a bit.

The kids are awesome babysitters -- Calvin is captivated by them -- giving up a grin for all their antics.

Even though the heat index was high -- Marshall was set on our having s'mores and a bonfire.
